Magicformulainvesting.com Redesigns Website

by alexg on March 14, 2009

Yes!!!!  You read the title right. Last week, while doing my screening I read changes were coming, didn’t think it would be so quick. Anyway, it seems like Joel Greenblatt is putting more effort into the whole project.  The site looks great, simple to navigate and is offering more services.

The Changes:

  • Can’t screen for 100 stocks
  • Can’t screen for 25 stocks, 30 is the new minimum
  • Joel Greenblatt is going to write for the site?
  • Apparently, there’s a money management firm “Formula Trading, LLC”  which is offering investors services to have a magic formula portfolio done for them.

What does this mean ?

Not much in my book.  I do not know why investors would flock over to “Formula Trading ,LLC” , the system is pretty straight forward. The only advantage that they might have is access to the magic formula rankings. Other than that, Steve at Magic Diligence has a bit more competition, but he has competition coming his way regardless.
