I have no idea how I found this tool but I believe its very creative. Smartmoney.com has a map of the market in which one is able to see the price changes of 600 stocks at once. The map is pretty straightforward as it shows the biggest price decliners in bright red and the biggest price gainers in bright green. Below is the map of the market following Friday’s close. I like the smartmoney website and I knew that the map of the market tool existed but I do not remember ever looking at it. Definitely a good tool to look at as a picture is worth a thousand words.
If -3% is bright red, I wonder what -15% would look like…
