Google Finance Adds Stock Screener

by alexg on July 2, 2008

For information on the stock market I usually use two sites. The first being Yahoo Finance as I believe they have the easiest and one of the most complete sites. Secondly, I visit Google Finance as I love their charts with markers which allows me to find news events.Recently, Google Finance added a stock screener which brought it one step closer to being #1.

Although not the most sophisticated screener, it is an additional feature that adds an extra feature to Google Finance. The screener is located next to the “Get Quote” button.  I still find Yahoo Finance’s integration of stock reports and message boards to be the best around with MSN Money coming a close second. In terms of screeners, nothing I know of beats MSN Deluxe Stock Screener which amazingly is available for free.
