Where is the Economy headed Mr.Buffett? Please dont ask

by alexg on June 1, 2008

With billions and an impressive investing record, there’s a reason Warren Buffett is one of the most sought after individuals to interview. I mean, where else can you find a humble billionaire with a great personality, who unless has something really important to do, will not decline. The interviews are great, and I am sure Warren Buffett does not mind, but please come up with new questions. After a couple interviews it seems as if the interviewer(s) keep on asking the same questions.

The list of questions below are questions that should NOT be asked when interviewing Warren Buffett or you have an opportunity to ask Warren Buffett a question or two, they have been asked plenty of times:

1. Where is the stock market headed?
2. What are the characteristics you look for in a company?
3. What do you think of the economy?
4. What are your thoughts on the dollar?
5. Who are you supporting Obama or Hilary?
6. What are your thoughts on real estate?
7. Is America losing its competitive advantage?
8. What are your thoughts on the financial crisis?
9. Why do you live in the same house you bought 30+ years ago? Why no mansions?
10.Why are you so humble?
11. Why did you not donate your wealth earlier?
12. How much will the market return this year?

The list goes on and on! This is why I expect Becky Quick (or CNBC for that matter) to continue to ask viewers to send in their questions. As for the questions I would ask Warren Buffett, lets save that for another time =)
